Walter Wayne "Tweety" Chaney, age 83 of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away February 7, 2025 at his home.
He was a Barber and a member of the Shelby Church of Christ; he was a veteran of the United States Air Force.
"Tweety" was born in Pikeville, Kentucky on August 26, 1941, the son of the late Walter Preston Chaney and Arietta Murdock Robinson Trimble.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Timmy Trimble and Larry Chaney.
He is survived by two sons, Bruce Wayne Chaney (Stacy) of Midland, Texas and Kevin Tate Chaney (Kim) of Pikeville, Kentucky.
He is also survived by five grandchildren, Taylor Wayne Chaney (Rachel), Reagan Chaney, Sydney Chaney, Hunter Chaney and Eli Chaney and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel, Tuesday, February 11, 2025 after 6:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2025 in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel with Buddy Ford officiating. Burial will follow in the Davidson Memorial Gardens at Ivel, Kentucky.
