It is with heavy hearts that family announces the peaceful passing of Walter Richard "Rich" Corbin, b. 10-27-49, East Liverpool, OH, to parents Walter William Corbin and Ruby Ellen Jones (Tom). Richard passed away quietly on the afternoon of 9-18-25 surrounded by his loving wife of 52 years and three daughters.

A long time resident of Wellsville, Ohio, Richard graduated from Southern Local High School '68 and fought for his beloved country with Korean service 1970-71 and in the Vietnam War from 1971-72 as a member of the US Army. Upon return, local mills and trucking companies benefited from Rich's unwavering work ethic and skill. Rich ultimately ended his career in 2020 by retiring from Kenan Advantage where he logged millions of miles hauling HAZMAT material. If ever there were a family man, Rich's career was fully in dedication to those he loved dearly, to foster an unwavering support system of confidence and security.

He is survived by wife Diana Lynn, and daughters Cacey Leigh Van Gorp (Kevin), Ashley Ann Cunningham (Brent), and Kiley Alissa Rose (Shayne). He is also survived by his sister Melissa Schell (David) stepbrother, Thomas Jones Jr. (Karen) and sister-in-law Jane Telzrow, and is now with brothers Randy and Jeff. Rich also willingly extended his care and guidance to his very close nephews Jay and Jeff Corbin, they are considered sons. His legacy is survived by grandchildren Brenna and Bryce Cunningham, Corbin Van Gorp, and Max and Ari Rose. A man of open arms, this legacy can be extended to niece Cori Telzrow, nephew Tom Betz, and the children of Jay and Mandy Corbin.

On a note of character, Rich was the definition of a steady and respected man. His three son-in-laws draw example from and abide in his admirable ways. Kind, loving, never rattled, always dependable, made no complaints, and endlessly welcoming, Richard was ready to extend warmth and companionship to all family and friends at any moment. He provided a foundation of pragmatism, strength, and reassurance for those in his circle. He also had valuable knowledge in many areas of trade, hunting, and sport and was an effective teacher. His hunting and fishing years were filled with truly incredible feats, he was a top notch baseball player, and a pool shark worth avoiding. He was a genuine jack-of-all-trades and knew a little about everything. His kind is the reason America was able to rise to the top, whose shoulders our country is build upon. He is the type of man whose life we need to meditate on regularly so that we are capable of holding onto and protecting everything God has given to us. Thank you Rich for your great stock in our lives and we will see you in Heaven.
