Mr. Walter Darren Cromer, 62, of Ellaville, passed away at his residence after an extended illness on November 20, 2024. Memorial services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Way-Watson Funeral Home with Bro. Troy Fripp officiating.

 Mr. Cromer was born December 30, 1961, to Jesse and JoAnn Cromer in Clearwater, FL. He was a truck driver by trade, working for Taylor Trucking before his retirement. Mr. Cromer loved being on the water and fishing. He especially loved his family and spending time with them. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Kenny Cromer. 

 Survivors include his children, Christopher Cromer and his wife, Sarah of Panama City, FL, Tiffany Cromer of Warner Robins, GA, Brandy Hannig and her husband, Geoffrey of Ellaville and Mandy Cromer of Macon, GA; eight grandchildren, Alex Licona, Logan Licona, Zoe Cromer, Madison Cromer (Kinsey), Gavin Hannig, Landon Hannig, Greyson Hannig and Issabella Melton; three brothers, Randy Cromer (Cindy), David Cromer and Darrell Cromer, all of Ellaville; two sisters, Darlene Taylor (Dayne) and Debra Taylor (Steve), all of Ellaville; special nephew and great-nieces, Josh Taylor (Lori), Kinley, and Maeley; and numerous nieces and nephews.
