Walter Patrick Obituary
Surviving are his wife of 55 years, Jeanette Jones Patrick; two sons
Jimmy Masters (Diana) Farmington, Walter "Bub" Patrick (Danielle), Farmington; one daughter, Rhonda Woody (Jake), Fairview; five grandchildren, James Masters, Devon Masters, Kyler Patrick, Brittany Woody, Taylor Woody; seven great grandchildren; his brother, James Patrick, Fairmont; and sister, Darlene Brown, Fairview.
Walter graduated from Farmington High School, class of 1967. He was drafted into the Vietnam War 1969. He served as an Army Sergeant and was honorably discharged in 1970, a decorated veteran given many medals for his valor and service.
He was a coal miner by trade and retired from Robinson Run mines after 38 years.
Walter enjoyed racing and hunting with his coonhound dogs alongside his father. After retirement, he enjoyed cutting lawns for family, friends and neighbors. He always wanted to be helpful and stay busy.
