Walter Allen Perrin, 78, of Gray Court, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025, at his home on Perrin Circle, surrounded by his family, including his wife of 47 years, Shirley.
Born in Iva, Walter was a son of the late Mack Carlis and Mary Francis Cross Perrin. Walter retired after 47 years in the communications business. He enjoyed life with his family, especially loving on his grandchildren and being called GDaddy! He enjoyed working on his farm, keeping bees and playing golf. Walter was loved by so many in so
many different ways, from his jokes, his wonderful advice, and his loving heart.
In addition to his wife, Walter is survived by his children, Rebecca Lucas (Lou) and Christopher Council (Brigitte); grandchildren, Conner Thacker, Caitlyn Thacker, Desiree Graham, and Colton Seitz-Council; a sister, Ida Langley of Mt. Holly, NC; and 4 half-brothers
Walter was predeceased by six siblings.
A time of remembrance will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025, 2:00 PM at MJ Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery in Anderson.
The family will be at the home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to ALS Association at alsa.org.
