Walter Piotrowski Obituary
Walter was born February 9, 1925 to the late Walter and Mary Piotrowski. He proudly served in the U.S. Navy during WWII as a Radio Man from June 1943 until March 1946. He married Leona (Dombrowski) who preceded him in death in August 1981. He loved to fish, golf, and tinker in his workshop.
He is survived by his daughters Karen (Lawrence) Majewski, Diane (Randy) Allar & Linda (Earl) Lange; 6 granddaughters Kelly, Jackie, Laura, Jenny, Jessica and Heather; 11 great grandchildren Steven, Chloe, Autumn, Caden, Alexis, Emilee, Sam, Dean, Ben, Lucy, and Dylan; and also Betty Wilson, his beloved companion and partner of 25 years. He is predeceased by his siblings Tony, Frank, Bruno, Stanley, Mary, Helen, and Ann.
Visitation Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 3-9pm with 7:00pm Scripture Service at Wujek-Calcaterra & Sons 54880 Van Dyke at 25 Mile Rd. (SHELBY TOWNSHIP). Funeral Wednesday, April 13, 2022 Instate 9:30am at St. John Vianney Church 54045 Schoenherr (btw 24 & 25 Mile Rds.) until time of Mass at 10:00am. Donations are welcome to the D.A.V.
