In loving memory of Walter Rogers Sr., born on February 1, 1956, and passed away at home on January 15, 2024. He was 67 years of age.

Walter had a very kind loving personality, he helped so many people without hesitation. He worked very hard as an appliance delivery person for many years. He was well respected and loved by so many. He enjoyed music and fishing. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed being around family and friends. He just knew how to make you feel good and keep on going. He was extremely intelligent and knew how to do so many things.

Walter joined the United States Navy and was assigned to the U.S.S. Coronado during the Vietnam War.

A very special man has left this earth but he will never be forgotten. His love will live on through all the hearts and lives he’s touched. He most definitely fought hard and strong and is irreplaceable.

 Rest in sweet peace eternally.

He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Barbara Ann Rogers and his three children, Belinda Ann Rogers, Walter Rogers Jr., and Melissa Nicole Briggs. He also raised his granddaughter, Brittney Nicole Lewis. Walter leaves behind four grandchildren Jeromy Todd Marshall, Walter Aaron Rogers, Aiden Anthony Rogers, and Isabella Millicent Briggs. Recently he gained a great granddaughter, Ivy Rose Brandenburg. He also leaves behind his beloved pet cat, Gabriella.

At the request of his Family all Services will be private.   Walters Funeral Home of LaFollette is honored to be serving the family of Walter Rogers, Sr.
