Walter Aaron Rummage, age 51, passed away on November 28, 2025, at Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina. Born on December 30, 1973, in Hendersonville, North Carolina, Aaron lived a life marked by service and dedication.

Aaron served his country with honor, retiring from the United States Navy after 20 years of distinguished service. Following his military career, he continued to serve his community through his work at the Henderson County Sheriff Office.

He was a dedicated member of Kedron Lodge No. 387 in Hendersonville, North Carolina, where he held the esteemed title of Master Mason. His commitment to the principles of Freemasonry was a source of great pride throughout his life.

Aaron is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Don and Paula Rummage. He is survived by his devoted wife and soulmate, Rhonda Rummage; his cherished daughters, Morgan Rummage of Purvis, Mississippi, Emma Rummage of Jacksonville, Florida, and Kaitlyn Diamond (John) of Charlotte, North Carolina; and his treasured son, Clark Rummage of Purvis, Mississippi.

A memorial service to honor Aaron's life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, December 5, 2025, at First United Methodist Church in Hendersonville, North Carolina, with a reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Navy SEAL Foundation, 1619 D. Street, Virginia Beach, VA 23459, or at navysealfoundation.org.

Aaron will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and he will be remembered for his unwavering dedication to his family, his country, and his community.
