Walter "Bill" Schwartz, of Collingswood, passed away on January 20, 2022 at the age of 92. He was born September 15, 1929 and was a lifelong resident of New Jersey. He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy and brothers Richard, Robert and Paul. He is survived by daughters, Sharon D (Robert) Watson, Marianne Cleighton, and Kathy (Jim) Mumblo. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Bill proudly served our Nation in the Army and the National Guard, and he worked as an insurance agent in his community. He loved the seashore and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed golf and was an avid bowler. Bill will be remembered for his kindness, his humor, his dependability and his patience.
There will be a private memorial service and interment at New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions can be made in Bill's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital online at stjude.org/give/memorials-and-dedications.html or by mail to 262 Danny Thomas Place Memphis, TN 38105
