Walter R Seyfried 84, of Gloversville, NY went to be with his wife on July 31, 2025. He was born in Amsterdam New York on December 2, 1940 the son of the late Oscar and Mathilda Hildebrandt Seyfried. Walter attended Wilbur H Lynch High School in Amsterdam NY.

He owned and operated Seyfried Brothers Farm with his brother Oscar for years. He enjoyed tending to the farm and loved tractors. He also worked most recently at Curtis Lumber in Perth.

Walter is of the Roman Catholic faith.

He was predeceased by his wife, Jeanette Seyfried whom he married February 24, 1963, she passed May 30, 2024. One brother Oscar.Seyfried.

Survivors include his son, Stephen (Sandra) Seyfried, one daughter, Debra Seyfried one sister Anna (Frank) Alvarez, seven grandchildren Kayla, Joy, Jessica, April, Emily, Chad, Brittany, three great grandchildren Brody, Daphne, Kailani and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family will receive relatives and friends Friday August 8, 2025 from 12-2 where a funeral service will follow with the Rev. Dr. RW Williams officiating At the Betz Rossi Bellinger & Stewart Funeral Home 51 Fremont Street gloversville, NY 12078.. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery Gloversville.
