Walter Sweeney Obituary
A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
Walter was born April 6, 1955, in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin to Anthony Sweeney Sr. and Bernice Sweeney. He worked as a newspaper carrier in Wisconsin Rapids.
Walter loved to watch old time western shows and enjoyed listening to polka music on Saturday and Sunday mornings. He cherished time spent with his dog Tinkerbell and his daughter Sheila.
Walter is survived by his daughter Sheila (Charles) of Nekoosa, WI; grandchild Tyra (Damien) of Plover, WI; great grandchild Hudson; brothers: Anthoney Jr (Joan) of Plainfield, WI, George (Billie) of Florida, Mike (Jackie) of Wellston, OK, and David (Dawn) of Auburndale, WI; sisters: Victoria Applebee of Wisconsin Rapids, WI, Bonnie Kloehn of Big Rock, TN, Patricia Lindsay of Bancroft, Donna Freeberg of Arpin, WI, and Linda Bell of Muskego; and dog Tinkerbell.
He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, brothers Dale and James, sister Carol, dog Jake, and many aunts and uncles.
The family would like to thank Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice service staff Wyatt, Susan, Spencer, and Becca. As well as Inclusa staff Jenni and Amanda for their care and compassion.
