Walter Swiston, Sr., Navy Veteran, age 86, of LaGrange Park. Beloved husband of Susan Swiston, nee Kolarik; fond father of Krista (Cory) Devlin, Walter Swiston, Jr. and Katrina (Zach) Swiston; brother of Andrew (Donna) Swiston, Christine (Craig) Wonsowski and the late Stanley (the late Terri) Swiston, Jr. and Daniel Swiston; uncle of many nieces and nephews.
Visitation Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 2:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. and Monday, January 26, 2026 10:30 A.M. to time of Service 11 A.M. at Hitzeman Funeral Home, Ltd., 9445 31st Street, Brookfield, IL 60513.
Entombment Queen of Heaven Cemetery, Hillside.
