Walter Thomas Theus Jr., the second-born of the late Ruby Lee Carter & Walter Thomas Theus Sr., was born on September 3, 1953, in Las Vegas, NV. Walter Jr. departed this life on September 26, 2025.
Walter Jr. attended public schools here in Las Vegas, NV. He worked as a bartender, keno writer and craps dealer in various hotels & casinos throughout Las Vegas. Walter was very smart, hard worker, nice personality, was a great cook and was always well-dressed.
Walter is preceded in Heaven by his father, Walter Thomas Theus Sr.; mother, Ruby Lee Carter; sisters, Linda Faye Holland, and Kim Theus; and brothers, Stevie Theus and Melvin Theus.
Walter Jr. is survived by his step-mother Erma Johnson; step-sister Karen Robertus; son, Derrick Talley; daughters, NaShanna Talley and Erin Theus; grandchildren DeAyre Talley, Amir Talley, Neveah Cobb, Amari Purnell, Amyiah Cobb, Jayden Talley, Justice Talley; as well as a host of many more family and friends.
