Wanda E. Bennett Baughman, Nana and mom to so many and a woman that was loved by all she came into contact with, passed away at the age of 91 on August 17, surrounded by her family and friends at Crouse Hospital.
She loved crafting, volunteering for the community and Boy Scouts Troop 99.
She was predeceased by her husband, Reynolds Damon Baughman Sr in 1991. Wanda has two surviving children, Reynolds Damon Baughman Jr (Christine Washo) and Brenda Gay Baughman Pease (Dean Pease). She was the proud grandmother of three living grandchildren, Jeff, Tim and Katlyn.
Wanda was the daughter of the late Archie Baxter Bennett and Edna Dell Moats Bennett. She was one of 12 children, 10 of whom predeceased her, Emogene Fern, Issac Martin (Mary Alice), Harold Pete (Sue), Mary Maxine, Edna Elaine (John), Samantha Louise, George Woodford (Karen), Edward Steve (Maxine), Thurman Durban (Ruth), Charles Clinton (Mary), thus leaving her baby sister, Barbara Sue Coker (Joseph), as the surviving sibling.
The burial will be private for her immediate family on August 22,2025. A gathering of friends and family are invited to a friend's house to celebrate Wanda's Life.
