Wanda Elizabeth (Osborn) Broden, 62, of Waverly, KS, passed away October 16, 2025, in Overland Park, KS.

On November 28, 1962, Wanda was born in Spokane, WA, to parents Warren and Beverly (June) Osborn. As her father was in the military, the family relocated several times over the years, but Wanda primarily grew up in Olathe, KS. After the passing of her father, she moved to Burlington, KS to live with family members. She graduated from Burlington High School in 1981.

Wanda was united in marriage to Richard Wesley Broden on November 12, 1991. The couple moved to Port St. Luce, FL where she began her 18-year career in sales, first at Kmart, and later at Walgreens. Richard preceded Wanda in death in August 2006, upon which she moved back to Kansas.

Also Preceding her in death are her parents, Warren & Beverly Osborn; and brother, Pat Osborn.

Wanda is survived by her brothers, Kenneth Osborn (twin) and Kevin Osborn of Emporia, KS, and Danny Wilks of Iowa; and countless other family and friends.

Services for Wanda will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Jones VanArsdale Funeral Home & Crematory, 107 W 6th St, Lebo, KS, with visitation at 10:00 AM followed by funeral services at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow at a future date at Pleasant View Cemetery, Agricola, KS.
