In loving memory of Wanda Jacob Browning
Wanda Jacob Browning passed peacefully on Friday, February 7, 2025, at the age of 99. Born in Butler, KY on January 04, 1926, the daughter of the late Charles and Caroline Zoller Berger, she was a cherished daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her first husband William Jacob, second husband John Browning, and twin sister Wilma Jacob.
Throughout her life, Wanda embodied resilience and compassion. She was a woman of unwavering strength, kindness, and grace. While living in Falmouth, Wanda was a member of the Falmouth Christian Church, where she could often be found serving others through comforting meals and beautifying the community. Wanda had a passion for cooking, gardening, painting, woodworking, and sewing. She loved her family fiercely and she was adored by her children and grandchildren. Wanda's family is grateful for the individuals that cared for Wanda in her final years at River Valley Nursing Home.
Wanda is survived by her son, Billy Charles (Mary Jo) Jacob; daughter, Sandy (Tony) Crawford; stepson, Mark (Kathleen) Browning; stepdaughter, Sue Browning Werner; nine grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Services will be held on Thursday, February 13th, 2025, at Peoples Funeral Home in Falmouth, Ky (Visitation 10:00 am/ Service 11:00 am). Reception to follow at 400 Main St, Falmouth, KY (Farm Bureau Building). Wanda's final resting place will be in Riverside Cemetery. Online condolences can be made at peoplesfuneralhomes.com.
