Lyonsdale – Wanda M. Clark, 79, widow of Bruce W., passed away at Lewis County General Hospital, Lowville on Monday, August 25, 2025.

Wanda was born at home in Lyonsdale on April 5, 1946, a daughter of Carl and Marie Kohl Mooney. She received her education at Port Leyden Schools. Wanda married Douglas Felshaw, and together the couple had two daughters Denise and Janine. Later the couple were divorced. Wanda then married Wallace Denslow, Sr., with whom she shares a son Wallace Denslow, Jr. This marriage ended in divorce.

Wanda was employed at Lally Manufacturing in Port Leyden, before her longtime employment in housekeeping at The Forge Motel, Old Forge. She also operated her own residential cleaning service for many years.

On September 2, 2007, Wanda was united in marriage with Bruce W. Clark. Wanda enjoyed playing cards, especially pitch, and hosting card nights at their home. She liked playing Bingo as well. Wanda loved adding to her assortment of collectables and merchandise with bears on it. She will be fondly remembered for her kind and giving nature; she was an angel to many of those in need.

Wanda is survived by her daughter Janine (Carl) Mooney, Port Leyden, son Wallace Denslow, Jr. (Holly), Lyons Falls, 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, one sister Candy McIntyre (Craig Monroe) and son-in-law Geno Clark, Lyons Falls. She was predeceased by her husband Bruce on April 15, 2025, daughter Denise Clark on May 18, 2019, and her sister Diane Marcellus.

In keeping with Wanda’s wishes there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements are in care of the Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where online messages of sympathy may be shared at www.trainorfuneralhome.com.
