Wanda Ann Green Clary

Wanda Ann Green Clary, 74, of Chase City, Va passed away peacefully on February 28, 2026
surrounded by her family. Born on February 10,1952 in Eustis, Florida to David and Annie Mae Green. Wanda was an only child who grew into a woman known for her laughter, warmth and unwavering love for her family.
She married the love of her life, Jimmy Clary in 1974, and together they built a life rooted in devotion and joy. Wanta retired from Meadowview Terrace in 2018 after many years of faithful work and friendship.

Wanda loved cooking for those she loved. She never missed a chance to dance, especially when Brick House came on. She cherished beach trips with Jimmy and their dear friends Earnest and Violet Thompson, and shopping trips with her daughter Kelley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved Schnauzer, Grady.

She is survived by her husband Jimmy Clary, her daughter Kelley McDaniel (Donnie); her grandchildren JB, Addy and Karson; Sisters in love Bonnie Clary (Lawrence), Mary Simon (Wayne); along with several nieces and nephews whom she loved very dearly.

While there will never be another one like Wanda, her family finds comfort in knowing she is fully healed and whole.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 7, 2026 at Wood Funeral Service Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior. Internment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.
