Wanda Kent Coleman

Wanda Coleman,72, of Panama City, went to sleep in the Lord on Sunday, June 9, 2024, surrounded by her family.
She was born on September 12, 1951, to JP and Louise Kent in Jackson County, Florida.
Wanda worked in the Bay County School System for over 40 years and loved working with children. She had served as the assistant to the Deputy Superintendent.
Wanda had a love for music. She enjoyed cooking for her family, fishing, living on the lake, traveling and being with her girlfriends.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Frank Coleman of 56 treasured years; her sons, Michael and Jason; grandchildren Trevor (fiancé' Allie) and Tyler; sisters, Linda Caporale and Marsha (Bruce) Hughes; special friends, Judy Smith and Judy Vandergrift. She is also survived by a host of other family members and friends.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 17, 2024, from 1:00-2:00 PM at Heritage Funeral Home with a funeral service to follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM. Graveside services will follow at Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the nurses at Vitas who made it possible for Wanda to be at home during this difficult time.
