Wanda Faye Crotchett
Jerseyville - Wanda Faye Crotchett, age 93 of Jerseyville passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2025 at Jerseyville Manor. She was born April 8, 1931 in Hartford, the daughter of Charles and Edna Perry Watson. She was raised in the home of her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Roland Perry. She married Paul Crotchett April 14, 1951 at the Wood River United Methodist Church and he preceded her in death October 12, 2024.
She is survived by two daughters, Diane (Floyd) Alexander of Jerseyville, Carol (Junior) Hardwick of Greenfield; five grandchildren, Kayla McGuire, Paul, Steven, and Ronnie Costello, Beth Denton; thirteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant daughter, Ellen Kay; and two sisters, Harriet Raymond and Gertrude Lee.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Friday, January 24, 2025 at Jerseyville United Methodist Church with burial to follow in Kane Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of services Friday at the church. Memorials may be made to Jerseyville United Methodist Church. Condolences may be left online at www.airsman-hires.com.
