Wanda Faye Eden, 74, of Searcy, passed away Thursday, May 12, 2022 at Baptist Health Hospital in Little Rock. She was born September 15, 1947 in Searcy to the late Claude G. Redman and Mable Evans. She retired from JcPenney after nearly 20 years of service and was currently a patient care associate for Home Instead where she enjoyed assisting and loving her clients. Faye currently attended West Race Baptist Church, and had been an active member of First Baptist Church Judsonia for many years prior. She enjoyed shopping with her granddaughter, going to watch her grandsons play ball, and dining out with friends.
She is survived by her daughters, Kristie Eden of McCrory and Shannon Atkins (Henry) of Bryant; granddaughter, Madison Barnett; grandsons, Devin Ellis, Trey Atkins and Will Atkins; as well as a brother, Wendell Redman (Vicki) of North Carolina. She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Redman and Mable Manor and two brothers, Tommy and Melvin Redman.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 18, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the Searcy McEuen Funeral Home with services to follow at 3:00 p.m.
All Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Searcy McEuen Funeral Home.
