Wanda Sue McCall was born March 19, 1964, in Chattahoochee, FL, the daughter of Melvin Sr. & Minnie McDonald McCall. In 1980, she married the love of her life, Dale Harrison, and they made their home in South GA/North FL with a short stint in Texas. Wanda earned an associate degree from University of Phoenix and served as an administrative secretary for Tallahassee Memorial Hospital and M.D. Anderson Cancer Center. She attended Hardaway Assembly of God.
Wanda lived her life as an example for her children and grandchildren. She helped others even when it meant a great sacrifice on her part. She taught them the importance of family, unconditional love, and doing the right thing because it is the right thing. She was always clowning around simply because she loved to see you smile. Wanda enjoyed trips to the beach, playing games on her phone, and cooking. Her specialties were hamburgers, meat loaf, and chili. Without a doubt, Wanda’s children and grandchildren held the keys to her heart.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Dale Harrison; her children, Robby Harrison, Serena Harrison, and Becky McLendon; her grandchildren, Garrett, Lilith, Xander, and Aaliyah; her siblings, Ricky McCall (Rose), Melvin McCall, Jr., Gene McCall (Debra); her sister-in-law, Carol McCall; and a host of extended family. In addition to her parents, Wanda was preceded in death by her siblings, Thad McCall, Shirley Neely, William McCall, and Sheila McCall.
