Wanda Leigh (Keith) Hawkins, passed away peacefully on October 7, 2025, in Greenville, Texas, at the age of 80.

Born on October 27, 1944, in Pasadena, California, Wanda was the daughter of Eugene Leigh Keith and Virginia L. (Fuller) Semple. She was raised in Pasadena and graduated with the Class of 1962 from Covina High School. She pursued some college education thereafter.

On November 6, 1964, Wanda married Charles N. Hawkins in Covina, California. Their marriage spanned more than five decades until Charles's passing in January of 2019. Together they built a life rooted in love and family.

Wanda was known for her outgoing nature and talkative spirit. She had a gift for conversation and a warmth that made others feel welcome in her presence. Among her favorite pastimes was crocheting-a hobby she enjoyed throughout her life.

She is lovingly remembered by her daughter Carol L. Adams and husband Kevin of Commerce; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband Charles N. Hawkins; her parents Eugene Leigh Keith and Virginia L. (Fuller) Semple; and her daughter Debra Leigh Hawkins Neameyer.

A woman of vibrant personality and enduring love for her family, Wanda leaves behind cherished memories that will continue to bring comfort to those who knew her.

May her memory be a blessing to all who were touched by her life.
