Wanda Jo Hensley, 70 of Hyden, Kentucky, departed this life on Monday, April 7, 2025, at her residence. Born on January 30, 1955, in Hyden, Kentucky to the union of the late George and Marie Bray.
Wanda worked as a house cleaner and hairdresser. Aside from work, Wanda enjoyed going to church, gardening and she loved flowers.
Wanda is survived by her devoted husband, James Hensley; one daughter, Tammie House, of Hyden, Kentucky; one brother, Tommy Bray (Jewell) of Hyden, Kentucky; one sister, Mary Katherine Bray of Hyden, Kentucky; one grandchild, Ashley Sharp (Matthew) of Georgia; and one niece, Kaithlyn Bray (Marcus Sizemore).
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents, George and Marie Bray.
Friends and family may gather for visitation from 10a.m. until 2p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, at the funeral home chapel.
The funeral service to commemorate Wanda's life will be held at 2p.m. Saturday, April 19, 2025, in the chapel of Wolfe & Sons Funeral Home with Chris Sale and Roger Wolfe officiating.
