Wanda Alberta Hoch, 99, of Logansport, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Franciscan Health East Hospital in Lafayette.
Born on October 4, 1924, in Logansport, Alberta is the daughter of the late Hobart and Florida (Harlan) Piercy. On July 12, 1945, in Logansport, she married Clyde Hoch who preceded in death on June 11, 2001.
Alberta had worked for Hopper Development. She was a member of the Logansport Church of Christ at Logansport and the VFW Post 3790 Ladies Auxiliary. Alberta loved spending time with her children, her many grandchildren and her friends. She loved bowling, sewing, playing cards, euchre and especially shoot the moon double deck.
Surviving Alberta are two daughters, Barbara Hoch of Logansport, IN, Cynthia (Paul) Kovacs of Lake Cicott, IN; four sons, Victor L. (Joyce) Hoch of Kokomo, IN, Clarence (Mindy) Hoch of Logansport, IN, Steven Hoch of Logansport, IN, Earl Hoch of FL; several grandchildren; several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 8 brothers and 3 sisters.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 1, 2023, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Strite officiating. A burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of service on Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Church of Christ at Logansport.
