Wanda Sue Hopkins

Wanda Sue Bishop Hopkins age 86 of Pikeville, Kentucky passed from this earthly life, Monday November 17, 2025 at the Pikeville Medical Center. She was born February 9, 1939, the daughter of the late Keither Willie and Edith Avelene Johnson Bishop. Wanda was a retired school teacher. She was baptized at the Grace Baptist Church but attended the Red Creek Church of God.
Other than her parents, she was preceded in death her son, Tommie Dwayne Hopkins.
Wanda is survived by her daughter, Tonya Hopkins Corder of Pikeville, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Matthew Corder, Zackery Sykes, Tristin Sykes and Tiona Hopkins, three great grandchildren, Sammy Corder, Shawn Corder and Francis Corder, two sisters, Sherry Owens of Cincinnati, Ohio and Mildred Stewart of Arizona.
Visitation will be from 12 noon - 2 PM Friday November 21, 2025 at the J.W. Call and Son Funeral Home chapel.
Funeral services will be 2PM Friday November 21, 2025 at the funeral home with Alfred Adkins officiating.
Entombment will be in the O.T. Hinton Mausoleum at Johnson Memorial Park in Pikeville, Kentucky.
