Tareta Carol McCoy Slone, age 71, of Pikeville, Kentucky passed away Saturday November 15, 2025 at Pikeville Medical Center. Mrs. Slone was the daughter of the late Doc and Shelby Jean Quesenberry McCoy, She was born at Pikeville, Kentucky November 8, 1954.
Tareta was a Teacher's Aide for the Pike County Board of Education and a member of the Cowpen Free Will Baptist Church being baptized in 1995.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bobby Ray Biliter, her husband, Keene Slone, one son, Craig Allen Biliter and one sister, Alfredia Billiter.
She is survived by one son, Bobby Darren Biliter of Pikeville, Kentucky, one daughter, Trista Biliter of Pikeville, Kentucky; four grandchildren, Bradley Biliter, Bobby Darren Biliter II, April Blackburn (Will) and Alicia Thompson and three great-grandchildren, Piper Thompson, Avery Blackburn and Bohdi Fields.
She is also survived by two brothers, Jeffery Allen McCoy of Regina, Kentucky, "Chad" James Harrison McCoy Jr. (Angie) of Elkhorn City, Kentucky and four sisters, Parenthia Justice (Mike) of Millard, Kentucky, Sheila Lavonne Ward (Paul) of Regina, Kentucky, Connie Lynch (Brian) of Johns Creek, Kentucky and Darlene Slone (Lyndon) of White Pine, Tennessee and a special friend, David Adkins.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 18, 2025, in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel with evening services at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 19, 2025, in the J.W. Call Funeral Home Chapel with Estill Reed officiating. Burial will follow in the McCoy Family Cemetery at 1462 Jimmy's Creek Road, Regina, Kentucky.
