Wanda Gay Kennedy

Wanda Gay Kennedy, age 65, went to be with the Lord February 9, 2026. Born February 21, 1960, she was the daughter of the late Paul Baldwin and Mary Ann Ball Baldwin. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends; she was a 1978 graduate of Garden High School; she was a member of Red Ash Pentecostal Church, she was a prayer warrior that loved to tell people about the Lord, Wanda loved kids and helping others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband: Herman Kennedy; sister: Nancy Lowe; brother-in-law Patrick Johnson; brothers: Raymond Ball and Roger Ball.

Wanda is survived by her fiancé Michael Burke; sisters: Brenda Johnson, Sylvia Hess, and Bonnie Coleman; dear adopted sister Karen Lowe; Best friend Neo Tankersley; and special Fur Baby Miss Prissy.

Funeral service will be conducted 2:00pm Friday February 13, 2026, in the Ketron Memorial Gardens Mausoleum with Randy Williams officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 2:00pm prior to the service.

Honorary pallbearers will be William Carter, Tausten Tankersley, Neo Tankersley and Arthur Keen.
