Wanda Y. Kurtz (nee Hartman), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Carl Kurtz; cherished daughter of the late Harry and Lura Hartman; devoted mother of Laurie (Dale) Kannawurf and Crystal (John) Ott; loving grandmother of Kyle Kannawurf and Clair Ott; dear sister of Joyce (the late Tuck) Smith; beloved aunt, cousin and friend to many.
Wanda was a member of St. Charles Junior Service League for 40 years. She was an avid bowler and bowled on the same league, The Wednesday Morning Gutterdusters, for almost 60 years. Wanda and her late husband, Carl, enjoyed fishing together for many years, first trout-fishing and later bass-fishing. She loved having her hands in the dirt and supplied many friends and family with tomatoes over the years. Wanda was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorials may be made in Wanda's name to Shiloh Christian Children's Ranch - 601 N Center Street- Shelbina, MO. 63468.
