Wanda was born in Yale, OK, August 26, 1937. She attended Quay Schools and also business classes at Draughon's School of Business in Tulsa, OK, and earned an associates degree in business from Tulsa Community College. She worked as a bookkeeper for Santa Fe Minerals in Tulsa and then 25 years with the Trust Company of Oklahoma. Early on in her working career, she worked for Headstart Program in Yale.

She was raised in Quay, OK, and lived in the Quay and Yale area all her life. She married Glen Lassley and they were married 68 years. Together, they had six children. Wanda is survived by daughter Glenda Rogers and spouse Kevin, son Greg Lassley and spouse Debbie, daughter Cherie Bryan and spouse Randy.

Wanda had 12 grandchildren with 10 currently living. She has 16 great grandchildren. With all the kids around, Wanda was always quick to say if she didn't like something someone did or said.

Wanda loved God and loved attending church. She was involved in several activities at church and enjoyed the women's Bible study and singing in the choir.

Wanda enjoyed sports all her life. She played basketball as a child in school. She continued her love of sports throughout her life. She especially enjoyed attending her children's and grandchildren's games. She was happy watching them and attended every game they had no matter where it was played so she could cheer them on. She also was an avid OKC Thunder fan and looked forward to watching their games.

Wanda was a great seamstress. She made a lot of our clothes and could sew up a dress at short notice. She loved embroidery and making quilts.

She loved to garden and preserve vegetables and loved planting and growing flowers, especially iris and peonies She also enjoyed getting mani-pedis. She would take dad along to various estate sales as she truly enjoyed collecting antiques no matter how big or small. She loved to play bingo and would always tell the sweet memories of the times she and dad went to play bingo and she won money.

Wanda enjoyed getting together with her sisters and other family members for various occasions. She loved telling stories about things she and her sisters did when they were younger, with several stories of when they would be home alone and they would jump start grandpa and grandma's Model A. She would drive it with her sisters in the car and at times they would be caught.

She had a long life where she enjoyed numerous things and especially loved her family.

Wanda is preceded in death by her spouse Glen Lassley, daughter Kathy Lassley, daughter Karen Armstrong, daughter Cindy Craig, granddaughter Cortney Williams, grandson Gregory Lassley Jr, and great grandson Justin Lawrence Craig Jr.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 4, 2026 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Palmer Marler Funeral Home in Cushing, OK.

Graveside Services will be Thursday, February 5, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Lawson Cemetery in Yale, OK.
