Wanda Lee (Neal) Chambers Leonard, age 85 of Byrdstown, TN passed away Sunday, July 2, 2023 at the Pickett Care and Rehab.
She was born June 6, 1938 in Livingston, TN to Virgil Leo Neal and Mary Ella (Smith) Neal. She attended the Trinity Assembly Church in Algood, TN prior to her failing health, and was a retired employee with General Electric.
Wanda was survived by (1) Son: Mike Chambers and Wife: Christie; (2) Step Daughters: Sherry McDonald and Debbie Flynn; (2) Sisters: Carolyn Cozine, Helen White and Husband: Ralph; (1) Brother: Tommy Neal and Wife: Virgie; (3) Grandchildren: Christopher Chambers and Wife: Jessica, James Chambers and Erin Chambers; (2) Great Grandchildren: Riley Kay Pittman and Will Chambers; (9) Step- Grandchildren: Shelby, Sallie and Josh Maxwell, Kyle Maxwell, Coty Woods, Ethan Woods, Keith Leonard, Richard Leonard and David Leonard. Also survived by other family members.
She was preceded in death by her Parents: Virgil Leo Neal and Mary Ella Neal; Her First Husband: Howard Chambers; Second Husband: Hoyt Leonard; (2) Brothers: Stanley and Haskel Neal; Infant Brother: James; Infant Sister: Susan.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. from Brown Funeral Chapel with Bro. Stevan McClure officiating. Burial was in the Story Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers were Christopher Chambers, James Chambers, Kyle Maxwell, Josh Maxwell, Tommy Neal and Tommy Chambers.
The family will receive friends at Brown Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, July 4, 2023 from 11:00 A.M. until time of the service at 2:00 P.M.
