Wanda M. Lopez, age 71, passed on to join her family in heaven on September 13, 2024. She is survived by her two children, Melissa and Melinda Zamora, two grandchildren, Isabella and Alec (Raquel), God-son Francisco Romero, sisters Corrine Martinez, Ramona McAfee and Imelda Ortiz and numerous nieces and nephews. Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Federico and Estella Lopez, sister Perla Luna, brothers Charlie and Leroy, brothers-in-law Ricky, Floyd, James, and Henry. Wanda loved gardening, the Kansas City Chiefs, listening to music, spending time with family and friends and most importantly she loved more than anything Alec and Isabella.
Wanda’s celebration of life will be held on October 8, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Church located at 4001 Osuna Rd NE, Albuquerque, NM 87109. A reception will directly follow. Her cremated remains will be attended by Alec Zamora, Francisco Romero, Richard Ortiz, Marcos Ortiz, Isaac Ortiz, Santiago Romero, and Daniel Ortiz.
