Wanda "Michelle" McCombs

It is with great sadness that the family of Wanda "Michelle" McCombs, age 42, has announced that Michelle passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 19th, 2025, surrounded by her family, who loved her dearly. She was born in Pensacola, FL, on August 13, 1982, in Baptist Hospital. She graduated thirteenth in her class from Pine Forest High School and attended the University of West Florida. Growing up, she enjoyed playing softball and spending time with her brother Mikey, Sister Melinda, and many cousins. She lived life to the fullest and loved having a good time. She was known by Michelle, Shellbell, and Mom. Michelle was a caring soul with a heart of gold. She was an animal lover who cherished spending time with her beloved dog, Max. Her greatest joy in life was her beautiful daughter, Gabrielle Michelle. Gabrielle gave her a purpose in life and was so proud of her many accomplishments.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Roger and Diane McCombs, as well as her Aunt Jeannie Grimsley Lockett and cousin Kaleb Andrew McCombs.
She is survived by her daughter; Gabrielle Michelle Walker, parents; Wanda Bomar (Wendell), and Mike McCombs (Mindy), Sister; Melinda Penton (Casey), Brother; Mikey McCombs, Nephews; Jayden Baker, Michael McCombs, Grandmother; Shelby Grimsley, Grandfather; William "Buddy" Grimsley (Virginia), numerous Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Visitation will be at Pensacola Memorial Gardens of Pensacola, on February 27 from 10:00-11:00, followed by service at 11:00, with Burial to follow.
Pallbearers will be Mikey McCombs, Andrew McCombs, Wendell Bomar, Billy Grimsley, Brayden Blackwell, and Casey Penton.
The Family would like to thank the wonderful Nurses and Doctors at West Florida Hospital for their loving care and kindness in her last days.
