Wanda Louise McDonald, 84, of Muse, PA, passed away peacefully at home on March 8, 2026.

Born on July 18, 1941, in Pittsburgh, PA, Wanda was the beloved daughter of the late George and Sara Heinen and the loving wife of the late Duane Sasek.

Wanda had a deep passion for cooking and sharing meals with others. For many years, she proudly ran her own catering business in Cecil, PA, where she was known for her delicious home-cooked meals and warm hospitality. Through her cooking, she brought people together and created lasting memories for countless families and friends. Above all, Wanda was a devoted wife, loving mother, and proud grandmother who treasured the time she spent with her family.

She is survived by her son, John "Butch" (Lori Tournay) Cumpston of Cecil; stepmother of Ed Sasek and Jody Sasek; her sister, Betty McAnany of Westland, PA; and her cherished grandchildren, Becky, Butchie, Tom, and Brian Cumpston, Trevor Sasek, Ally Sasek. Wanda also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews who will remember her kindness, warmth, and the care she showed to everyone around her.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by those who welcomed her into eternal rest.

Private arrangements were entrusted to Pittsburgh Cremation & Funeral Care, McMurray, PA.

Wanda will be remembered for her generous heart, her love of family, and the comfort she brought to others through her cooking and companionship. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
