Wanda Faye Moss, 87, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2025. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 19, at Oakwood Cemetery, 2124 S. 5th St., Waco, TX, with Rev. Jerry Freedman officiating.
Wanda was born June 2, 1938, in Waco, TX, to Howard “Buck” and Nora (Warren) Moss. Wanda enjoyed simple pleasures and bright moments—she loved playing bingo, watching wrestling, visiting casinos, and going on cruises.
Wanda was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Larry Moss, Doyle Wayne Moss, and niece Pauletta Wilkins.
She is survived by her nephews, Eric Moss and wife Amber, Ogelsby, Wayne Moss and wife Lesa, of Hewitt, David Moss, of Robinson, and his daughters, Ava Moss and Madison Kudelca, and Nathan Moss, of Valley Mills, and daughters Kaisley Moss and Brynlee Moss. She is also survived by her nieces, Lauren Wilkins and partner Deriston Hunter, of Hewitt, and her children, Elijah Cruz, Julian Cruz, Sophia Cruz, Fabian Cruz, Gianna Cruz, Paris Hunter and Amari Hunter, Kandyce Simons and husband, Chandler, of Hewitt, and their children, Saylor and Kanyon; Kirstey Ferguson, of Hewitt, sister-in-law, Kathy Moss; and her beloved dog, Ollie Moss, who brought her constant joy and companionship.
Everyone knew her as “Aunt Wanda”; she will be deeply missed by all those who were blessed to know her.
