Wanda Sue Purdy

Mrs. Wanda Sue Purdy, 58, of Montezuma, Georgia entered into rest, Thursday, September 16, 2021.
Memorial visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 17, 2021, at Watson-Mathews Funeral Home.
Services will be held at Lake Blackshear at a later time, convenient for the family.
She was a member of Williams Road Church of Christ in Americus, Georgia. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt, and she will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She loved spending time at the lake, and sewing and cooking for her family. She also enjoyed thrifting and antiquing.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Kenneth Purdy, of Montezuma, Georgia; three children: Elisa Purdy (Wendle Grantham) of Americus, Georgia, William Purdy (Ali) of Montezuma, Georgia, and Alex Purdy (Caitlin) of Mobile, Alabama and her adoptive children:Zack Ledger of Montezuma, Georgia, Karl Bond, and Jeff Salter, both of Americus, Georgia; two brothers: Gary Epting (Sylvia) and Johnny Epting (Debbie)both of Baldwyn, Mississippi; five grandchildren: Archer Grantham, Collin Grantham, Dean Purdy, Anna Purdy, and Chandler Purdy.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mike Erman Epting and Jennie Sue Yarbrough Epting.
