Wanda Sue Rast Glover, born on June 6, 1959, in Cherokee, Alabama, peacefully departed this life on July 29, 2025, at University Hospital in Jackson, MS. Sue lived a life filled with love and dedication to her family. Initially a devoted stay-at-home mother, she later transitioned into a fulfilling career as a bank teller when her children were older, exemplifying her commitment to both her family and work.
Sue is survived by her beloved daughter, Alicia Prentiss (Jeffery), her two sons, Bryan Glover (Cricket) and Jon Glover, and her cherished grandchildren, Dallison Prentiss, Luke Glover, Judson Prentiss, Serenity Glover, Tyson Glover, and J.B. Glover. She is also survived by her brother, J.T. Rast, and her sister, Sheila Rast Wilson. Sue's legacy of love and compassion will live on through her family, who carry forward the values she instilled in them.
Sue is preceded in death by her parents, Tulon and Mary Alice Rast. Her enduring spirit will forever be a source of strength for her loved ones.
Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka, MS is entrusted with the arrangements. A visitation in honor of Sue will be held on August 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM officiated by Bro. Billy Glover, both taking place at Cutshall Funeral Home located at 302 North Pearl Street, Iuka, MS, 38852. All are welcome to join in celebrating her remarkable life and legacy. Burial will follow in Rutledge Salem Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandon Blythe, Braiden Blythe, Dallison Prentiss, Judson Prentiss, Luke Glover, and Jeffery Prentiss. Honorary pallbearers will be Jamey Wilson, Ben Phifer, Tyson Glover, and J.B. Glover.
The family wishes to say a special thank you to Rebecca Ratliff for her help and care while Sue was in the hospital in Jackson.
