Wanda Lee (Deal) Smith, age 79, of Fort Smith, AR, passed away on June 29, 2025. She was born on June 22, 1948, to Arthur Deal and Osie Lee (Nulley) Deal.
She was such a loving mother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed sewing and was deeply talented, as she could make anything, and she enjoyed gardening and cooking.
She is survived by her husband, John Smith, her three daughters; Linda Jean Cranford, Brenda Lee Wylie and husband Baron, and Melisa Ann Cranford; two sons, Tony Smith Jr. and Tim Smith and wife Christy; four grandsons Bradly Jones, Thomas Cunningham and wife Jessica, Dakota Wylie and wife Amanda, and Ty Smith; and one granddaughter Emma Smith. She is also survived by her two brothers; Billy Arthur Deal and wife Rhonda, and Carl Dean Deal and wife Carolyn.
She was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Osie Lee Deal, sister Doris Jean (Deal) Smith, and her son Tommy Smith.
Visitation will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Lewis Funeral Chapel, located at 4817 Kelley Hwy in Fort Smith, AR 72904. The funeral service will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 3rd, 2025 at Bethel Lutheran Church. Following the funeral service, she will be buried at the Fort Smith National Cemetery at 11:00 a.m., also on Thursday, July 3, 2025.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons Thomas Cunningham, Bradley Jones Dakota Wylie, her grand nephews Easton Smith and Scout Smith, and nephew Trex Smith.

Wanda was such a caring and loving person. I have so many memories like fishing at the pond, Easter egg hunts and running around with wanda and Dodie. She will be dealy missed
