Wanda Spence

Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda H. Spence, 66, will be 1PM Monday at the chapel of Seale Funeral Home. The service will be conducted by Dr. Leo Miller; interment will follow at Louisiana National Cemetery. Mrs. Spence was born in Baton Rouge on November 26, 1946 and continued her spiritual journey on Thursday July 18, 2013 at her residence. She was a resident of Denham Springs, a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church Denham Springs. Her passion was time spent with her family. She is preceded in death by her father Gordon L. Hatchell and a brother Mark Sidney Hatchell. Survivors include her husband Gerald R. Spence; her mother Evelyn Milton Hatchell; daughter Sheri Lynn Crow and husband Bryan; son Gary Royce Spence and wife Morgane; sisters Mary Alice Arnold and husband Johnny, Jane Sutton and husband Sidney; grandchildren Ashton, Harli and Tara Crow, Remy Spence; also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation will be on Sunday 5pm until 8pm; and on Monday 10am until time of the service. Memorials preferred to the Baton Rouge Food Bank.
