Wanda Jo Steffen

Wanda Jo Steffen ( Smith), born October 15, 1930, in Blair, Oklahoma, and long-time resident of Sparks, Nevada, passed into eternal rest on February 14, 2024, at the age of 93. The Steffen family matriarch is survived by her loving daughters and son in laws, LaVerne and Joseph De La Rosa, Nancy and William Hirning, Jody and Matthew Wright. The lineage she proudly leaves behind also includes her adored grandchildren, Brandon Hirning, Lynea De La Rosa, Jeven De La Rosa, Amanda and Joshua Madrigal, Joshua and Alexis Wright, and Faith Wright, as well as her treasured great-grandchildren, Christian De La Rosa, Naomi Henderson, and Jonah Madrigal. Wanda now joins her late husband, Leo Glenn Steffen, and her son, Leo Glenn Steffen, Jr., in peaceful repose. A devout member of the Church of Christ, Wanda's steadfast faith was an inspiration to many. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects and celebrate Wanda's life at the Mountain View Mortuary, 425 Stoker Avenue, Reno, Nevada 89503. The diligent and caring staff of Mountain View Mortuary is overseeing the funeral arrangements.
