Wanda Tanton, entered the Gates of Heaven on June 25, 2024. She was known for her strength, kindness, and compassionate heart. Wanda was born on March 1, 1942, in LaRue, TX. Throughout her life, she touched the hearts of many with her selfless and unwavering willingness to help those in need.
In her free time, Wanda enjoyed simple pleasures such as spending quality moments with her loved ones, watching TV, and ensuring she got plenty of rest to recharge herself. Her dedication to her family was unparalleled, and she found joy in the bonds she shared with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Wanda is survived by her loving children Belinda Irvan and Jimmy Tanton; grandchildren Alexus Tanton, Jamie Irvan, Thomas Courtney, Carissa Tanton, Chelsea Pruitt, and Chasity Pruitt; great-grandchildren Gracie Barnes and Michael Barnes; brothers Kenneth Weeks and Robert Weeks; sister Brenda Cooper, niece Randa Carr, sister-in-law Debra Gagnon, and along with many other cherished family members and a multitude of friends.
She is preceded in death by her father Noel Weeks; mother Delma Johnston; son Roger Tanton and her husband John Tanton; and brother Ricky Gagnon and great-granddaughter Hazel Barnes. Wanda will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
