Wanda Temple Obituary
Four Oaks, NC: Ms. Wanda Rose Temple, age 66, passed away on Friday, April 12, 2024 at the SECU Hospice House in Smithfield surrounded by her loving family. Funeral Services will be held 11:00AM Tuesday, April 16, 2024 at Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church in Four Oaks. Officiating will be Rev. Rodney Brittain and Mr. Rodney Barbour. Burial will follow in the Caswell Temple Family Cemetery in Four Oaks.
Wanda was born on May 10, 1957 in Johnston County to the late Elwood Bright and Mattie Parker Temple. She worked for Belk’s in Smithfield, Farmer’s Furniture in Dunn, and Walmart in Clayton. Wanda was a member of Barbour’s Chapel Advent Christian Church. She had a love for all animals and loved traveling to the mountains, especially, Morrow Mountain in Albemarle. Wanda loved photography and loved to lend a helping hand to all that she met.
Survivors include her brothers, Roger Temple of Four Oaks, Ricky Temple and wife, Annie of Four Oaks; nieces, Karishma Brown and Sadie Temple; special friend of 36 years, Gary Beasley of Four Oaks.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM to 8:00PM Monday, April 15, 2024 at Rose & Graham Funeral Home in Four Oaks and other times at the home of Ricky and Annie Temple, 1459 Juniper Church Road, Four Oaks, NC 27524.
