Wanda June (Ward) Croto, age 71, of Rossville passed away January 11, 2026, with her family by her side. She was born on September 8, 1954, in Paducah, Kentucky to James W. and Ada (Martin) Ward. She married William (Bill) V. Croto III on May 19th 1986 and he survives.
Wanda was a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School, class of 1972. She obtained an associate’s degree in 1975 from Ivy Tech and later a bachelor’s degree from Asbury College. Wanda worked as a dental assistant for Dr. Greene in Rossville for several years. She was a Vietnam War Era veteran serving in Germany reaching the rank of Sergeant, also receiving an Army Commendation Medal in the US Army from 1972- 1976. Wanda could often be found crocheting and found enjoyment in crafting. She took pleasure in reading in her free time and had a special love for cats.
Wanda is survived by her husband Bill; Son, William (Will) V. Croto IV; Sister Phylis Patterson. Grandchild, Lyric Rain Croto; and many nieces and nephews.
Wanda is preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation & Service will be held Friday, January 23, 2026, at 4pm at the Rossville United Methodist Church with Pastor David Bushfield officiating. Interment will follow at Rossville Cemetery where military honors will be held courtesy of Clinton County Honor Guard. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in honor of Wanda can be made to the Humane Society of Clinton County. Messages of condolence may be left at www.dayandgenda.com.
