Wanda Viola Williams, born December 13, 1963, passed peacefully from this life on November 2, 2025.
Wanda lived a life filled with simple joys and a deep appreciation for the beauty of nature. Her lovingly arranged koi pond was her sanctuary, a place where the gentle sound of water and the graceful movement of fish brought her peace and contentment. She had a lifelong love for horses, finding calm in their presence and a sense of freedom when riding.
A true country soul, Wanda enjoyed the quiet comfort of visiting her sister's property, where the stillness soothed her spirit. She also cherished evenings spent playing bingo, laughing and connecting with friends, whether or not she took home a prize. Her love of music was ever-present, often singing along to her favorite Reba McEntire and Carrie Underwood songs with heartfelt joy.
Wanda had a gift for making others feel welcome. Her easy smile, kind heart, and social nature made her a friend to many. In her quiet moments, she found joy in knitting and sewing, creating and mending with care, often crafting thoughtful gifts for those she loved. Whether watching Heartland or catching up on The Young and the Restless, she was rarely without her faithful chihuahua, Little Man, by her side.
Wanda is survived by her devoted husband of 24 years, Robert; her children, Michael, Brandi, and Jonathan Rutherford; her brother, Gordon Rutherford; and many other loving family members and friends. She will also be deeply missed by her beloved Little Man, her constant companion.
Wanda's life was defined by love, kindness, and an appreciation for life's simple treasures. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
