Lula Mae Rodgers

Lula Rodgers, a devoted Christian and beloved member of Grace Bible Church in Choctaw, went home to be with the Lord on November 5, 2025, after a lifetime of faith, kindness, and service. She was born June 24, 1928 to Levi and Clara Mullett.
Lula's love for God guided every part of her life. Whether through her church work, lending a helping hand to neighbors, or offering a kind word to someone in need, she lived her faith daily. Even in her final weeks, Lula's caring spirit shone brightly as she helped other residents in her care facility, always thinking of others before herself.
She was an avid reader who found deep joy and comfort in Scripture, having read the Bible many times over. In her younger years, Lula loved to bake and was known for her warm heart and hospitality. Though she and her late husband, Don, who passed in 2019, never had children of their own, Lula's love for children was evident in the way she cared for the little ones of friends and fellow church members.
Lula had a remarkable memory for family birthdays and anniversaries, always making those around her feel seen and loved. She will be remembered for her unwavering faith, gentle kindness, and the quiet strength of a life well lived in service to others and to her Lord.
Lula is preceded by her beloved husband, Donald "Don" Dean Rodgers, whom she missed every day since his passing.
