Wanda Mae Zimmerman, 88, of Waukon, IA, passed away on March 26th, 2025. A private family service will be held at a later date.
Wanda was born on July 30th, 1936, to Edward and Evelyn (Zeadow) Zumbrunnen in Monticello, IA. On October 3rd, 1954, she was United in Marriage to James Frederick Zimmerman in Monticello, IA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Zimmerman; her parents, Edward and Evelyn Zeadow; her sisters, Linda Zumbrunnen and Betty Boots; her brothers, Dwayne Zumbrunnen and Dean Zumbrunnen; and her son-in-law, Blaine Schultz.
Wanda is survived by her children, Sherry Schultz, Douglas (Janet) Zimmerman, Melody (Dwaye) Brink, and Pamela (Nic) Dunkle; ten grandchildren, twenty-three great-grandchildren, six great-great grandchildren; and her brother, Jerry (Marietta) Zumbrunnen.
