Warren Michael Gough, 78, of Lithia, Florida, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2025.
Warren was born in New Orleans, Louisiana to John and Esther Gough. He attended the United States Naval Academy and the University of Houston. Warren married Suzanne Petty on October 22, 1966 in Houston, Texas. Warren worked as a manufacturer's rep for several years; he was with Electric Sales Associates for 41 years. Warren served in the United States Naval Reserves. Warren was very active in St. Andrews United Methodist Church where he served as a Stephen Minister.
Warren is preceded in death by his parents, John and Esther Gough, his brother, John Gough and his son, Michael Philip Gough.
Warren is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Suzanne Petty Gough and his son, Thomas Warren Gough and wife, Amy, daughter, Jennifer Hanson and husband Bob; grandsons, Alexander Michael Gough, Christopher Warren Gough, Hudson Robert Gough, John Thomas Gough and Steve Nicholas Cizmar and his only granddaughter, Kayla Gayle Hanson, great grandson, Alexander Michael Gough, Jr., and his sister-in-law, Mickey Balcerowicz. He is also survived by one niece and nephews whom he absolutely adored. Warren was a loving husband, father, grandfather and uncle. He found his greatest joy in his faith and in the time he shared with those he loved the most - his family.
Services will be held October 30, 3:00 p.m. at St. Andrews United Methodist Church, 3315 Bryan Road, Brandon, Florida. Arrangements are by Serenity Meadows, Riverview, Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests with gratitude memorial contributions be made to St. Andrews United Methodist Church designating either the Food Pantry, Meals on Wheels or the Youth Group.
The family of Warren Gough wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Edward Scanlan, Dr. Nalini Hasija with FCS, the TGH cardiologist group, Dr. Espinosa Hernandez, and the amazing special nurses of the CCMICU at TGH and Vincent from Enhabit Home Health Care. Special thanks to our family, friends and church family.
