Visitation for Warren E. Hattendorf, 78, of Palatine, will be on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM at Ahlgrim Family Funeral Home, 201 N. Northwest Hwy, Palatine.

Family and friends will meet directly at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 200 N. Plum Grove Road, Palatine on Monday, February 24, 2025, where visitation will continue from 9:30 AM until the time of the Funeral Service at 10:30 AM. The Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park, Elgin.

Warren was born on June 12, 1946, to Alvin and Elvira (nee Pohlman) Hattendorf. He passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, February 15, 2025.

Professionally, he was a purchasing agent in the field of construction. Warren was a longtime lover of sports from being in involved in little league and youth baseball programs to following local and professional sports teams his entire life. He enjoyed bowling, fishing trips, and was known for being a great organizer. Warren was a passionate Chicago sports fan, especially the White Sox and Bears; he enjoyed watching the games on TV. He was lifelong member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and took pride in his Christian values.

With his love of family and friends, he had the great joy of hosting a yearly 4th of July celebration at his house. Warren’s strong will and smile will be missed.

Warren was the dear brother of the late Ronald (the late Catherine nee Henke) Hattendorf, Diane (the late Richard) Rogala, the late Alan (the late Carol nee Moehling) Hattendorf, Marvin Hattendorf, and Terry (Donna nee Hennenfent) Hattendorf. He is also survived by 12 nieces and nephews; and 15 great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the charity of your choice.
