West Gadsden- Announces the passing of Mr. Warren Henry, 33 of Gadsden, passed away Monday, September 1, 2025.

Warren Diamonte Quintez' Henry was born on July 23,1992 in Gadsden, AL to Carolyn D. Henry & Jacques P. Smith.

He gave his life to Christ at an early age and he loved, loved, loved the Lord.

He attended Gadsden City High School, class of 2010.

Warren was an excellent public speaker, best known for the infamous Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, "I Have A Dream" speech. He was known to be a guest at many churches during Black History Month reciting this speech with so much compassion and strength. He also participated in playing parts in local plays around the city.

Warren was a very respectful, caring, loving, gentle giant. He loved people and he loved to bring laughter with him everywhere he went. He loved singing, fishing and selling cars. He had the "gift of gab" and he used it well. He was loved by many people and will be missed greatly.

He is preceded in death by: his grandmother, Minnie L. Harville.

Warren leaves to cherish his beautiful memories to: His mother, Carolyn D. Henry; father, Jacques P. Smith; children, Warren Diamonte Quintez Henry Jr., Ta'Liyah Annalise Henry, and Jaxon Warren Henry; grandmother, Cynthia Sanders; sisters, Jocelyn Madden, Donquesia Roberson, Kayla (Jeffery) Hamilton and Brandi Calloway; brother, Jalen (Jazmine) Dees; aunts, Sandra D. Henry, Violet Smith and Amy Smith; uncle, Anthony Smith; god-mother, Bishop Tonya Latham; special friends, class of 2010 and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Public viewing will be from 12noon-5pm, Friday, September 5, 2025 at West Gadsden Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 6, 2025 at The Venue at Coosa Landing, 201 George Wallace Drive, Gadsden, AL 35903; Eulogist: Bishop Tonya Latham
