Warren William "Boompa" Jarog

Warren William Jarog, 81, of Westmont, at rest September 17, 2025. Beloved son, benefactor and father figure to many, especially Marie, Tony and Melissa. Warren served our country, in Germany, as a member of the United States Armed Forces. He was employed at Inland for approximately 50 years and was a tenacious worker. Warren lived comfortably at home with Tony for the past 6 years in Westmont. He will be loved and will be missed by many. Warren, or as the kids and I fondly called you, Boompa. It feels surreal to think about a world without you. I struggle to accept that I won't be able to pick up the phone to call you, send you an email, or text you anymore. You held such an immense place in my heart, as well as in the hearts of my children.

You always tried to keep your big, loving heart hidden, but I truly knew you, and just like my aunt Fanny, I was lucky enough to be close to you and experience the warmth and goodness that defined you. You would give anything to help someone in need, even if it meant going without. I find myself reminiscing about all the wonderful stories you shared with me, many of which I heard multiple times. I could often anticipate the endings, but I never minded-I loved the way you told them and the excitement in your voice that brought them to life.

It's profoundly hard for me to accept that I won't hear your booming voice that could fill any room with laughter and joy. Your infectious laugh and radiant smile are things I will always treasure. I want you to know just how deeply you meant to me and how thankful I am for your unwavering support. You were my rock, always encouraging me to fight for what I deserved in my career.

Not a day will pass without thoughts of you, and I want you to know that my love for you will never fade. You will be missed more than words can express.
